Plan Description

Create your own cozy getaway chalet with this cabin design. Two levels of outdoor living provide a lovely introduction, with scalloped trim adding to the chalet feel. Step onto the railed veranda and into the open living areas, where a warm fireplace awaits snug evenings to the left and the dining room with a snack-bar counter borders the kitchen on the right. A window above the sink lets you enjoy the scenery while rinsing dishes. One bedroom with a wall closet rests on this level, with use of a full bathroom. The second floor holds two additional bedrooms—one the master suite—and a full bath. In the mornings, greet the trees and mountains from the master suite's balcony that runs the width of the house. Besides plenty of closet space in the bedrooms, additional storage is found up here, coming in handy for stashing heavy winter clothing when not in use. Another storage/mudroom area by the back door is a great place to put wet boots and hang up coats. A sink lets you wash up before entering living areas.

A mirror-reversed set is a printed copy of your house, resulting in the same image you would see if you held the drawing up to a mirror. Everything, including the text, is backward in relation to the original design. These kinds of drawing are typically used to reorient an original plan more advantageously on a site, either because the homeowner prefers it that way or because of limitations of the site itself. Note: Mirror reverse sets are only available with a 5 copy or 8 copy set. With a Reproducible, PDF, or CAD set, you can print mirrored copies locally. In addition: 5 Copy set selected, should only allow 4 mirrored sets to be selected. 8 Copy set selected, should only allow 7 mirrored sets to be selected.
